ABOUT THE TALENT

MIYUKI
BIO SOON

ROXANNE
Born, but not raised in the Bronx of New York City, Roxanne moved to Florida in 1984 and at the age 15 she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Dillard School of Performing Arts where she gained a background in music theory. Being involved in music most of her life, she was an accomplished guitarist in local bands but that gave way to her desire to be involved in all styles of electronic music, especially Drum and Bass.
Roxanne discovered electronic music in the mid 90’s while working in a nightclub. "I was fascinated by the way a DJ could control a crowd and how much energy would be in the room". Once hooked, Roxanne spent much of her time learning the skills to become a DJ. After only six months of dedication perfecting her skills, her hard work paid off in the form of bookings. Her style developed into mainly the harder, darker and more aggressive sounds of drum and bass and she is able to peak the energy levels within a set again and again. She has been ripping it up at parties throughout South Florida and playing at events all over the U.S. for the past 14 years.
During the summer of 1999, Roxanne relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue her career as a top notch DJ and producer after outgrowing the scene in Florida. Since moving to L.A., Roxanne has become a favorite at many of the weekly drum and bass clubs including the longest running most successful Drum & Bass night in Los Angeles “Respect” and has earned quite a reputation at the larger events both locally and out of town. She has had several releases including "Hypnosis" which was released on Vortex Recordings, and has remixed E-Sassin’s track entitled "Fragment" on Thermal Recordings.
Over the past two years Roxanne has been widening the scope of her music selection by branching out and playing other styles of electronic music including Techno, Electro, and Breaks. This veteran DJ is quickly becoming a favorite within these genres all over Los Angeles at local clubs and on various radio shows.

DEMON0NE
Demon0ne from L.A.'s respected BWOMP! crew is bringing a perspective to the Los Angeles underground that few have seen. He pursues sound encompassing a variant of infectious rhythms that present the darker forms of dubstep. Most currently a resident DJ on Dubstep.fm, Demon0ne has rapidly elevated to a level that has him appearing throughout the LA event circuit with his signature sound

MASK & DANK AKA IVXX
IVXX is Trans-Atlantic bass production duo M.AS.K and DANK, formed after the relocation of UK native M.AS.K (Cardiff, Wales) to the OC. The pair currently operate out of Costa Mesa, CA and can be found tinkering with a range of tempos. Dubstep was the first common interest and mainstay of early work, but with the recent rise of the UK funky scene and burgeoning L.A. beat scene close at hand experimentation was soon to follow.

CHIP
As a dancer and choreographer coming up in the golden age of hip-hop, rhythm and music came naturally to Chip. In 1999 Chip took his love of funky beats from the dance floor to the decks, becoming a vinyl whore and promoting underground parties with his crew, the StormRiders. From hip-hop to house to breaks to UK hard house, Chip’s played through different genres, always keeping the funky hype. His love for a broken beat has led Chip to his newest love - dubstep. When Chip’s on the decks, be prepared to get down.
