The Gathering is the realization of human potential and the ultimate infusion of art, science, philosophy and technology all in one weekend. Part music and arts festival, part intellectual inquiry, The Gathering seeks to bring all of the myriad approaches to the human experience into a holistic and open conversation about how to create a global, sustainable human community and a world that works for everyone.
To pave the way for the ultimate Gathering in December 2011, we're holding a series of parties, or "labs", to play around at the intersection of avant-garde artistic creation and intellectual exploration/innovation.
Our first lab is called "Speak", and it's a night wholly dedicated to self-expression: you bring no pretense, bring an open mind, we bring transformative art spaces for growth and personal expression.
