WE have been working hard to STEP IT UP and bring more DnB/Dubstep nights to So.Cal for the Summer, and provide the oppurtunity and support to the scene we know and have so much love for!

One of the most promising new artists in 2011 are Trowa. A duo of historical proportions, Trowa (Metaphase & Philthy B.) are making waves with their remixes of Cassius, Keith MacKenzie and originals on Reid Speed’s Play Me Records. No strangers to the scene both of these cats have been cranking out sonic bliss for a minute now. Through their manipulation of sound waves, TROWA takes form through many styles, channeling high-energy music that elevates listeners beyond the construct of society’s dubious ways.

Trowa is bringing the heat at all tempos , to be heard in their Nightfire EP out now on Play Me Too , featuring several originals alongside collabs with Armanni Reign and the Juggernaut. Their recent work has seen support from Antiserum, MRK1, Reid Speed, Bare, Mark Instinct, and more. Also inconjuction with that is their monthly jungle sessions in Pasadena called BacktoBasics featuring some heavy hitters within the underground jungle scene... this crew is no stranger to rockin a set and smashin the floor! A native of Mexico city… DJ KABOOM… relocated here in the states and found his passion for music and love for the So.Cal scene. Involved in many different ways, with different musical genres… his forefront and main focus as of late… has been shifting forcefully to jungle/drumnbass! With a slooth of recent production work and steady bookings he has been turning heads. His style has an old school feel and at the same time brings a unique style to the table that is rare and distinctive. Using and incorporating amen breaks, 2stepn beats, and heavy/ lowww frequency basslines… his production work is definitely on a level of incomparable structure. We are proud to add KABOOM to the night and look forward to hearing his new recent tunes... His first release off the label called ’MAKE ME FEEL’ is OUT NOW… off the Compilation CD - Deep In The Cut - presented by Bell Ringer Records.
